Looking for unbiased perspective on this:
If USC wins the Pac12, what are the chances that Washington goes to the Rose Bowl?

Re: College Football
i just read this this morning. they're pretty good. the rose bowl will take its second choice among remaining Pac12 teams, not second place. The same holds true for the Big10. There's also a really good chance they take Penn St over Ohio State (OSU fans only used 13,000 of their allotted 20,000 tickets last year).Bammer wrote:Looking for unbiased perspective on this:

12 team playoff approved. I wish the 2nd round was at home stadiums, but it's still a decent format for the initial two years.

Happy TCU didn't get penalized for losing in overtime in a conference championship game.

Re: College Football
Let’s talk about players who skip the bowl game to focus on going pro. Let’s talk specifically about Florida’s quarterback. Florida just finished 6-6. Nothing burger of a season. And now their QB will skip the bowl to focus on the draft.
Last I checked that guy could have been hurt in any game all year, not just the bowl game. Why even play at all during the month of November if your season is bust and you wanna focus on going pro?
Some players even skip NY6 bowls … I mean what is the point of even playing during the season at all? I don’t get it. Is there like risk of getting their degree nullified or something if they don’t complete the regular season (assuming a tutor didn’t do all their schoolwork).
