Black (unplugged?), soldier of love, last kiss, sleeping by myself (!), I got shit, might be too depressing though

Musically I think it is, yeah. It sounds sluggish, downbeat and beautiful, where Lowlight sounds lilting, bright and beautiful. But that may be just my impression. There's a lot more "starlight" atmospherics in Lowlight that lends it a prettiness that I think Thin Air avoids. Lowlight has a brighter melody too, I think. Less lower register? I might be wrong about that but it's my instinct going by memory.stupidmop wrote:Is it?harmless wrote:Thin Air is much darker than Lowlight.

That's interesting, cause I'd almost swap those descriptions. I've always found thin air kinda 'bouncy' and lowlight just shy of droning. Lowlight does have a prettiness to it though.harmless wrote:Musically I think it is, yeah. It sounds sluggish, downbeat and beautiful, where Lowlight sounds lilting, bright and beautiful.
