I thoroughly enjoyed this season. Bring me a season two filled with more cockney accents, avatars, and giant god battles.

I enjoyed it, but I think that.was fairly glossed over. I think it had to do with the gates, and they opened b/c of that avatar talking to Layla?

He chose to leave paradise, unbalancing his heart again to allow Steven to exist again. The gates were the gates of Osiris, god of the underworld. Tawaret mentions that’s where she’s taking them in the previous episode.
