Went away with my wife and the kids for a long weekend at the beach. First day and a half was absulutely rubbish weather - so took the kids to go and see Strange World, it's a pretty shit movie, but they seemed to enjoy it.
When we got up there I had an Email from my surgeon's office - and they had given me the option of two dates for sugery. Either next Tuesday or the end of Jan. I've opted for the January date so it doesn't screw up Christmas and the summer holiday away

This time they're apparently looking to completely remove the meniscus which will mean an end to pretty much all high impact activites, but at least I'll be able to walk normally again

I went to a knee pain forum like 10 years ago. Everyone there was at least 50 years old. Oddly my knees have been better ever since then without doing anything.
