I watched Christmas with the Kranks recently (I watch it every year)

It's a fascinating movie. I'd love to know what the director told Jamie Lee Curtis to get that insane performance out of her.

Over the weekend watched

Home Alone
Elf

All were pretty good

This sounds sensible, but what movies are you thinking about specifically? Lock Stock remains Guy Ritchie's best movie. Doubt he will ever top it, although he made a decent attempt with Snatch.

Mother! Well that was quite the anxiety inducing experience. Good lord.

Watched Spirited last night.

Cute. Charming. Fun take on an old holiday trope. Wouldn't recommend it to most of RM but I enjoyed it.

I doubt I ever watch it again, but I give it high marks. J-Law is so good, as is Bardem

Yeah, it's not a regular rewatchable, I agree. But it was a great experience and one I think I'll revisit again one of these days.

"Klaus" is another good one that got stuck under the radar of most folks.

I was surprised to enjoy Mother!, considering how so many seemed to despise it. I thought it was pretty good, but yeah, bonkers.

Klaus is great. :heartbeat:

That's one I would recommend to just about anyone. Great story. Great animation. Lovely, funny, moving. Excellent performances. Great flick.

I hadn't heard of this until about a week ago and I'm very excited to check it out.

Just finished it. It's very good. Haunting, kinda hilarious. I wish it were longer.

Saint Maud is incredible.

It blew my mind a little when I realized halfway through that Lord of the Rings show that the main elf lady is the Saint Maud actress.

Just watched this one and I agree. Loved it. Aubrey Plaza is killing it lately.
