I think it was the injury combined with being up like 5tds

This next run is def scary.. the niners are kinda banged up too and didn't beat the best of opponents either

That was bad in a way I didn't expect.

Just saw that him n mahomes were the only to qb all season to throw for 250 n 2 tds vs sf

For how bad he played, he did kinda turn it around towards the end.. I don't even count that fumble, the game was outta reach..

Despite how bad he was in the first half I decided when Miami was down 20-10 if they held them to a FG the Dolphins would still win. And he did look like himself on those next two drives which was good to see.

It was just frustrating because there were big plays to be made in the first half. Like that wheel route to Jeff Wilson Jr shoulda been a TD. So, I guess on the plus side I don't think the Niners defense really did much to stop Miami and I don't think that the book is out on Miami now. On the other hand they just lost to a third string QB last pick of the draft rookie and the defense stays not being able to get off the field on third down so yeah.

mostly in agreement. Purdy played pretty well, so it's hard to quantify him just as a lowly third string QB. Props to SF's offense and their coaching staff and play calling. I love how idiots like Skip Bayless say "Tua lost to Purdy, so he sucks", as if Tua played against Purdy's defense. It's just a stupid, non-sensical way to look at it. Tua left a lot on the field, but that SF defense is very scary and they had him rattled. It could've been worse, with some very impressive plays too. I still obviously have faith in him. Hopefully he can learn and grow from this.

Everybody has a bad game. It's easily the worst he's looked since the Steelers game and before that, the Patriots game. And it still felt like Miami could have easily won it. The defense really frustrated me. And yeah props to Purdy, he made some good plays, especially that 3rd down strike to Kittle with Phillips all over him. That was a very high level play. The defense just drives me crazy.

That was easily the most pissed I've been watching a game in a long time.

yeah this is probably Josh Boyer's last year. I imagine Mike McDaniel will bring in some sort of mastermind to take over. We have a pretty good roster on that side of the ball but the play calling/scheme is subpar.

It also sucks considering the schedule is really tough now and that became very winnable. I think that's going to be a game that really haunts us down the stretch.

I really hope so. It seems like it'd be a very desirable job for a DC with all that talent and a great offense on the other side and presumably a lot of freedom from the offensive-minded HC who seems like a very easy person to work with.

it appears defenses have figured the offense out.. clogging the middle.. i thought dolphins would've adjusted, countered by now... very disappointing.. not feeling good at all about the bills game on saturday night

Gotta love being fans of a team that starts 8-3 and can’t even make the playoffs. There’s always next year. (To not make the playoffs again.)
