Watched A Friend of the Family, followed by Abducted in Plain Sight - I'll never be able to think about B in the same way ever again

Dark Materials S3.

Was humming right along until
Spoiler: show
Miranda showed up. That guy is the worst fit for something like this

I love the dynamic between Will and Lyra and that the writers/directors aren't overly dumbing down or telegraphing the anti-Christian themes. Too many shows have the characters stop and monologue to communicate the 'correct' perspective and so far they've avoided it.

I'm blown away by the chemistry between Lizzy and Jesse and Adam. It's genuinely like they've been really great friends for decades. Maybe they have been? Maybe it's just because they all started when they were so young?

But Lizzy was the MVP tonight. Her monologue in this ep was just... just fucking perfection. She's amazing. This whole cast is amazing.
latest ep is a doozy

I'm gonna have to wait until either very late tonight (I'm at work until 5 and then seeing the new Sarah Ruhl play tonight) or more likely tomorrow.

But I so fucking excited to watch it.

I'm into ep 6 of severance and I have no idea what all the fuss is about. It's pretty boring.

I'm not kidding when I say that the final episode of Severance is one of the best things on TV I've seen in years.

It's awesome. But it's awesome because of everything that came before. Especially the two previous episodes. :heartbeat:

Ted Lasso is great. So, yes, watch that.

You could also check out Servant. It's super weird/horror from M. Night. I haven't seen the third season yet but 1 and 2 are both fun/strange/interesting. Not must-see but different and a good ride if you want something genre-y.

Yeha, man. Seems like it thinks it's deep, it's trying to be really profound, but the harder I look the shallower it feels. And the "humourous" moments don't even get a smirk from me.
