This is a pretty good example of Ed not screeching like a cat or fighting to get it back again. Its a 50 year old smokers sweet spot. It would be nice if he realized this and settled into this sort of a grove more consistently.

I'm pretty sure Stone's younger than Ed.

I can't believe I know that.

Stone seems older and wiser in a way I can perfectly appreciate. He seems like the most "intelligent" member of the band and I kind of wish he was friends enough with Ed that they would share leadership responsibilities. It seems to me he would be forcing more Jeff songs on records if that were the case.

It's amazing what a pair of glasses can do for someone's perceived intellect.

He's not been wearing glasses for these interviews. Also, well, openness, honesty, eloquence and a good vocabulary are nothing to do with wearing glasses.
