Re: The Running Thread
What do you guys think about merging the Running and Weight Loss threads into one?
I get that some people run for fun / sport and not for weight loss, but the two crossover a lot.

I think they're different things. So I'm down with keeping them separate but if there's a large enough demand to merge we can certainly do that.Coach wrote:What do you guys think about merging the Running and Weight Loss threads into one?

Re: The Running Thread
By the way, if you're fueling right, you probably won't lose weight anyway because of all the carbs and calories you need for increased mileage. There are so many more effective ways to lose weight than running.

Re: The Running Thread
I used a treadmill this morning, but I couldn't really get into it. I'd probably need to vary the speed and incline from time to time to keep it interesting. I just worked up to 6.2 miles an hour and stayed there for about fifteen minutes then got bored and stopped

Yeah that's the battle with the old 'mill. I should still probably get one for bad weather days, but meh.The Argonaut wrote:I used a treadmill this morning, but I couldn't really get into it. Re: The Running Thread
It's a good way to catch up on albums or shows, and it's easier to commit to a harder pace than you're used to, but yeah, treadmills mostly suck.
