This album is really enjoyable. I don't know where it'll place years from now, but I'm really into it right now. And, quite frankly, I don't really care where it places. There's a solid core of songs here that will keep me coming back to it.

I imagine that Boom is absolutely full of brilliant ideas about how this band could move forward and grow old gracefully, while still maintaining a modicum of respect and selling records. He just doesn't get asked. One day, he will, and they'll be all like "Boom, why the fuck didn't you tell us we should do this before?" and he'll be all like "You never asked. Smoke?"

I'm beginning to hate the word "jangle" like Stip dislikes the word "cringe" and... what else was it? Ah well. "Jangle" is just a word people use when they don't like folk or country. I can see describing Yellow Moon as prog lite. I hear a little "Shine On..." by Floyd in there, without the necessary hamming up.

That happened to me too. There's absolutely too much going on, but I can't decide whether that's because there's so much going on, or that there's less going on on other tracks, which makes FD sound so much more ridiculous. It's a bit of both. But FD is a pretty nice song and it's schmaltzy but it's pretty.

There's absolutely too much going on, but I can't decide whether that's because there's so much going on, or that there's less going on on other tracks, which makes FD sound so much more ridiculous. I agree. There's a good half dozen songs on this album that i really, really like.
