Earlier today the only local theater showing The Fabelmans had a Temporarily Closed note on their website, but now tickets are showing available. Think i'll hit it up tonight. God Bless.

Okay, I've thought about it a lot and... Babylon is fucking awesome.

Y'all will still hate it though.

That is all.

Banshees of Inisherin (twice now, I love it so much, its become a comfort movie)

Silent Night (2021) -- it's fine, but not nearly as clever or well-constructed as it thinks it is

Glass Onion can be annoying in the same way Don't Look Up is annoying; it has this very off-putting air of smug, self-satisfied liberalism about it. The satire is stale and all these references to NFT and crypto and Twitch streamers just feel, for lack of a better word, cringy. But the cast is good, the mystery is entertaining, and it's a breezy watch that doesn't ask much of you. I dunno. 5.5/10. First one was much better

Also it really bums me out that Janelle Monae is primarily an actress now because she's a great musician and not a very good actress

Are there references to the extended Shrek universe

I've only watched like 40% of Shrek, so no, not really, but similar humor in some parts.

Agree, I was shocked on how obvious it was and how smart it thought it was.
But I don’t think the mistery is good at all.

Monae is barely acting here I don’t know why everyone think she is good.

The Black Phone. I'm about 15 minutes in. It's mostly all children so far and gosh dang, the acting really sucks. Hoping it gets better. But why would you start a movie so terribly if you could help it?
