I preordered the album, I've actually been spinning the last two studio releases a bunch lately.

Random oasis mention as I was looking for a particular National show on YouTube:

This sounds less like a shot at oasis than youth in general, which is a very Morrissey thing to do the miserable cunt.

This last album has not really landed with me. I get the fun and appreciate Liam's venturing out in some new directions though. Voice still sounds good, that said I feel there's a bit more layering and vox effects at play than previous endeavors.
