Re: The Running Thread
Did 3.70 and stomach starting feeling upset. It's been bothering me a bit for the last few days, so I decided to quit and walk to the end. After a bit I said screw it i'm going to finish a mile of walking and run 2. The first mile was slow af, the slowest i've had in a few years i'm guessing. I did up the pace a good bit to finish out though. My last two runs have been disappointing, so hopefully I can start the year stronger.

Any running goals for 2023? I'm wondering if it's possible for me to run a one hour 10k

I bet you could. I’ve considered that a potential goal also. Might be more attainable than my possibly former 25:00 5k goalThe Argonaut wrote:Any running goals for 2023? I'm wondering if it's possible for me to run a one hour 10k

I don’t have any real 2023 goals except to be more consistent.

I highly doubt that, if you really committed to it. You seemed to make great strides, pun I don’t care, rather quickly. Re: The Running Thread
I've been working out consistently for a few months, actually. Upper body-rest-lower-body-rest, four day cycle. I've been pretty good at sticking to it, and I am actually starting to see some difference. I feel stronger

Re: The Running Thread
6.1 this morning. Ended up with a 9:55 pace but ran the first half at like a10:20 pace. Really picked it up in the back half.
Made it in just before the rain, too.
