Okay I'll set my stake in the ground on hating it.

It's Margot Robbie's second big commercial and critical flop of the year, after Amsterdam. But unlike Amsterdam I actually want to see it

I have nothing against her performance necessarily, but I just did not like the portrayal or writing for the character. I felt little to no sympathy for her, and a lot of aspects didn't land.

Oh no. Jorge has shifted his attention from Dwayne Johnson to Margot Robbie.

It also doesn't help that it's a movie about Old Hollywood starring Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie. That just invites the mind to hold it up against Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, and it wasn't half as good for me

she hasnt been doing well box office wise....Birds Of Prey and The Suicide Squad were disappointing and both Babylon and Amsterdam featured her prominently in the posters and trailers and were embarrassing bombs.

If that Barbie movie flops, its going to be hard for her i guess. She has that new Wes Anderson movie and the Ocean Eleven remake next too.

Even with some flops she will have a very long and productive career. Everyone knows she's a great actress, who happens to also be very beautiful.

i just watched that Barbie trailer. Neat homage to Space Odyssey, but what is it even about? Does anyone know? Written by Noah Baumbach and Greta Gerwig, who also directs? Weird

I just watched it too, and all it did was further cement my belief that hollywood has long since run out of original thought, and they want to churn out mindless trash.

It has to be "about" something with those two writing it. I just haven't a clue what. Such a weird trailer.

It's a teaser.

Babylon is one of those movies that, even though the critics hate it, it will still get some Oscar noms.

Barbie might be one of those Snakes on a Plane type movies where people laugh at the trailer, but don't have any real interest in watching the movie.

Robbie is hot, but she needs some more junk in the trunk if she's gonna come home with me.

Seems its a comedy with some musical numbers. Im sure ill be woke as fuck too. Like really really on the nose. Kinda like Glass Onion.

I finished the Mission Impossible movies. As a whole it was a great series.

I'd rank them thusly -

4
1
5
6
3

2

I liked them all but two, which was complete dogshit.

Added one movie to each of 2010, 2011 and 2012. Saw Cloud Atlas, and will see Blue Valentine and Melancholia next.

Still four 2012 movies left, Trouble With The Curve, Killing Them Softly, Ruby Sparks and Mud. Should finish by the end of the year.
