I root for Zach Levi since I'm a big fan of Chuck but I would take his comments with a mountain of salt. Maybe down the line we get a Elseworlds Kingdom Come story with some of the Synder cast but I'm thinking a hard reboot is a done deal. Besides Shazam was always a ticking time bomb Billy Batson is a kid and kid actors age. They took too long progressing that one.

Then two great performances this year in smaller, character-driven films, God's Creatures and Aftersun (the latter perhaps being the best movie of the year and his performance in it probably the most compelling of the year). I really like him. He's also either engaged to or recently broken up from Phoebe Bridgers, I forget the gossip.

Gladiator 2 would definitely be the first big epic Hollywood movie on his resume
