Of the Earth is an average unfinished tune. It might be good enough to become a Lost Dog, depending on what else they've left on the cutting room floor.

LB could benefit with a more rockin tune towards the end, but Of the Earth isn't it.

The video of this song should feature Ed playing the uke on a horse.

Boom could be leading it, and Brendan could feed him a sugar cube at the end.

But then, as the three of them trade smiles and wait for the video to fade to black, it zooms in to the thick foliage on the other side of the little stream Ed has been riding next to, and there we find revealed...

Followed by a cheesy wink and grin by Ed with a straw in his mouth. Cut to riding into the sunset.

Oh, I will MAKE SURE you're sleeping by yourself tonight, Mr. Vedder.

Really though, it should be like that one muse? Video where people are sobbing while doing regular mundane things like grocery shopping. On really nice sunny day.

And then neil young slaps em all in the face.

Seems like they could mock a Mentos commercial with this one.

Make sure you're not sleeping by yourself tonight. Take a mentos.

I don't think anything should be like Muse, but that might just be me.

I wonder how we would feel about this song if this version was the first time hearing it (in any form).

Almost certainly more positive, I think.

Id like to see bo'b work with muse, it could be the most spectacular exercise in musical masturbation the world has ever had inflicted upon it.
