Great list. I checked out the first few songs off that Beths album the other day and enjoyed it.
thank you! i really love the beths, their debut is one of my favorite albums of all time and i would have been perfectly fine with them not reaching those heights ever again but they do numerous times here, as good as power pop gets to me

The Rate Your Music Top 25 of '22 list is the best I've seen so far. It certainly shits all over the lists from Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, Consequence, TheNeedlDrop et al.

It's solid (I like it a lot) but I have to admit that I don't yet get the overflowing adoration. It feels super overrated to me right now. The record is my Wet Leg, I think.

I still think their first record is better.

But we'll see how I feel after I've lived with the record longer.
