We love any kind of engagement in the weight loss thread.

154.4 today. I had a steroid injection on Wed and might be retaining some water.

haha, it's a corticosteriod called Kenalog-10 to reduce inflammation. It's a small dose so I'm suppose to avoid the typical side effects of steroids but I am def retaining water today.

It’s a longer acting steroid, too, so the effects will be longer lasting as well.

The dermatologist stabbed me in the scalp a few times so I am hoping for the positive effects. It's suppose to help with hair regrowth. I lost some due to a side effect of a prescription med I was on. Fingers crossed.

Update: My doc says that if I am holding any extra water it's not from the injections since it's a low dose and localized injection site. So, it could be that I just ate and drank more carbs than usual.

Oh it's not stressing me out at all, just enjoying the challenge. I mean I just ate a chocolate chip cookie after lunch.
