I saw it recently, too. It's a bit tedious for the first hour before it gets moving. Then it's kind of fun for a while, then it isn't again, then it is, then it isn't

we're trying to decide on the next movie. we have a list and all, but my wife is talking to my FiL right now, and he's practically begging us to watch either Escape from New York or The Thing.

went with a different Carpenter. One I thought my stepson might enjoy...Big Trouble in Little China.

I used to watch it all the time as a kid. I still love it.

Stepson didn't care for it.

I was just telling my wife that whenever it came on TV I would watch it...no matter where it was in the movie. I was always awestruck by those three guys, Lopan, and Egg Shen. Russell is corny but hilarious. I love it all.
