But not only did it play a bunch of festivals in 2021, it also toured a bunch of cities. Seems extremely weird to call it a 2022 movie when you could buy a (non festival) ticket to see it in 2021

It’s a 2021 movie, no doubt about it.

There are a very few movies that go by different years on various places, that’s annoying.

Watched Whiplash with my wife and my oldest son. It was on the list of movies my wife and I wanted to watch, and he mentioned wanting to see it as well.

I take back what I said about Miles Teller having a punchable face. I liked the movie more than I thought I would.
