What movies are you watching?

[The Argonaut]

I looked at Resurrection, because of the recent VG/Jorge enthusiasm. I'd forgotten that this was the movie that was filmed in my home city. So I spent a good chunk of the movie just giggling that I recognized locations. I even recognized an extra, haha. He was in focus and sitting next to Rebecca Hall at some lecture so my brain told me he was about to be an important character, since I recognized him. Then I remembered that he's the guy who runs local trivia games and gives tours and whatnot.

It's an odd feeling.

but did you liked it? what about Rebbeca´s performance? her monologue?

I will admit I was a little distracted by the locations. She would often walk downhill to go to a place that is at the top of a hill, or drive to a parking garage that is literally further from her office than her apartment is. But, yeah, the movie was good.

Holy shit, that was the most fun I’ve had watching a movie in a long time. Absolutely loved it.

Another one all of RM will hate. But I truly think it's a perfect film. Sarah Polley is a genius.

Polley is a great actress and a great director.
I havent seen her doc but both Away From Her and Take This Waltz are really good, specially the latter. I loved what she did with the Michelle Williams character. The ending was so powerful.
