Just curious, how do you guys listen to compilations? Convert from FLAC to MP3 and listen on your phone? Do you have a digital audio player that is capable of playing FLAC files? Maybe you go old school and extract it to a CD

As for myself, I Have a Digital Audio Player and just play everything through there. It handles any type of file.

I use "Flac to any Pro" and convert them into Apple lossless.

As for myself, I Have a Digital Audio Player and just play everything through there. It handles any type of file.

I used to convert everything to mp3 but the last couple of years as data storage is cheaper and flac playback options more available I tend to just leave it as flac. My phone will play it natively if I want to listen that way, but the vast majority of my listening is either direct from the PC or through our Sonos system, so flac is the goods.

My digital library leans heavily towards flac these days and it's the way I download 95% of my music I'd say.

Just getting to this (thanks). The opening version of River Cross is beautiful. It's a little rushed, but it gives it a compelling urgency.
