This show started out pretty great, but what a drag.spike wrote:Binging 1883 on the long flight back to America. Really puts into perspective how much travel’s advanced over the last 140 years!

I’ve watched 2 shows in the past few months that have “accidentally connecting to a Bluetooth speaker while watching porn” as a plot point.

Re: What are you currently watching on TV?
Jury is definitely out on the Night Court reboot. John Laroquette is still a pro’s pro; Dan Fielding was one of the great 80s sitcom characters but some what forgotten now. The first couple episodes show some kinks to work out, the laugh track needs to be toned down and the new bailiff is straight out of sitcom 101 The format does feel dated but I’m not going to write it off yet, though the early bet is that it won’t be brought back.

I'm watching Kevin Can Fuck Himself right now. It's interesting.JuanHamm wrote:ghost wrote:Anyone read anything about this new AMC show Kevin Can Fuck Himself? Looks promising. The premise is that each episode starts as a King of Queens/According to Jim style multi-camera sitcom about a big dumb husband and his hot wife, before pivoting to a dark comedy from the wife's perspective.
I get a weird sense of deja vu from it, like I heard about it on a podcast years ago.
Tom Scharpling and one of the guys from Hollywood Handbook are involved, so it could be good.
I wasn't interested until I heard Tom and Sean Clements were involved. Hollywood handbook is one of my favorite podcasts and Tom is one of their best ever guests.

For All Mankind S3
I love the "next gen" cast, but we are about halfway through it's a step down from S2.

Hate these multiple-episode premieres that seem to be happening everywhere now. Wanted to try Poker Face on Peacock, and they released 4 episodes today. So now I’ve got to dedicate 4 hours this week to this show if I want to stay caught up?

I like getting two episodes up front. 4 does seem like too many.

Season two with them running on the moon would have been a good ending point.Bi_3 wrote:For All Mankind S3

Since I quit dope, I picked up television. It’s a little healthier.
