I don't think The Strokes have any bad albums. Even the ones that reviewed poorly or are widely considered to be on the weaker side are perfectly fine to my ears. Maybe they don't take enough risks to disappoint.

Rick Rubin, huh. I'm sure it'll sound okay. He seems like more of a group therapist than producer extraordinaire these days, though. "I wanted the band to feel comfortable, to be the best version of themselves, so that the songs would flow organically..."
