A criminal has trespassed against your family, in a way that can never be undone. A way that changes everything.

The criminal justice system fails you. Despite his guilt being certain beyond a shadow of a doubt, the criminal gets off on a technicality.

You decide to take justice into your own hands. You buy a gun, you begin secretly following the criminal. It Is clear that he is preparing to trespass against another family. You wait for the right moment, when he will be alone.

Your moment comes in a lonely alleyway. You kill the criminal. Justice.

But, as you turn to leave you almost fully run into another person. An innocent civilian, entirely unrelated to any of this. You realize they've seen everything, and could easily identify you. They are frozen in fear.

Do you kill the witness?

Urgh, I knew that would be the detail to trip people up. But I didn't want to be too specific. Definitely an adult

I don't think I'd kill the witness, no. But what did this criminal do to your family in the first place?
