Signs that remain up way after the event.

Election campaign signs, of course.

But there is still a Boy Scout Christmas Tree Pickup sign out in my neighborhood for their January 7th event. Fuck those guys! How about a pickup event for your outdated signs!

We have people in our neighborhood that still have Christmas lights on. If you don’t want to take the decorations down, fine. But you don’t have to keep lighting the lights.

There’s a house around the corner that’s one of those Christmas-tree-in-every-window houses and for some reason they’re all still up. Granted, this is only the second holiday season we’ve been here but they didn’t leave all that shit up last year.

There’s another that still has their yard decorations still up and they turn all that shit on at night still. It’s almost fucking February, people.

I made a very similar joke at the end of a first date I went on last year. It was well into January and when we went outside she noted that someone still had a Christmas tree up in their apartment window. I theorized that perhaps the person was dead in there and hadn't been discovered yet.

No second date!
