I think this whole expensive egg thing is a hoax...ive been paying about $4 a dozen the whole time

I paid $6 for eggs today, but I bought the fancy eggs with the deep orange yolks.

i just found out not too long ago that the color of the shell is determined by the type of hen that laid the egg.

oh heavens no....our neighbors in hermosa moved a few years back to a farmish place in Palos verdes a few miles down the road...the constructed a chicken coop and spent way too much money on French hens...they used to give us eggs on a weekly basis..the best chicken was named money penny and laid blue eggs...she lasted about 8 months before she was taken away by a coyote...
