Re: The Running Thread
Trying to decide if I want to attempt a morning run vs going today. I’d like to go a little farther than 3, but my legs may need a little more rest. But then again I may easily find myself hitting snooze because my mornings suck butts.

Do you have an overall goal? Like a certain number of days to hit? Or are you just tracking it?Bammer wrote:I’m saying I have gone out for a run 13 days out of 23 days so far this year.epilogue wrote:That's not even a real month!
There will be an XXX/365 total posted on December 31st.
I’m keeping myself accountable here.

Definitely get your butt sucked this morning. That's way better than running.lennytheweedwhacker wrote:Trying to decide if I want to attempt a morning run vs going today. 87 miles so far in 2023.
Fun fact: Bardo Pond makes great music for a long run in the woods.

Yeah I wish I had. Just signed up for a 5k race with some friends, even though I’ve not been feeling the race urge.JuanHamm wrote:The answer is always "Do the thing now" in cases like this.lennytheweedwhacker wrote:I didn’t do either.lennytheweedwhacker wrote:Then it is decided.epilogue wrote:Definitely get your butt sucked this morning. The streak of 7's ends!
I did 4 today. At a very light, easy pace. Felt great.

Re: The Running Thread
Did 3.65, no walking. Was planning on doing 4.25 or 4.50, but out of nowhere my left calf started to feel kinda dead. After a bit I felt it in my thigh also. I eventually tried to speed up to give it some life, but it didn't help. I stopped running because I was afraid I was going to fall on my face
