I'm enjoying this so far. I haven't really watched much zombie stuff in a while, so I think I'm ready for this.

I've been listening to "Never let me down again" a ton since that first episode.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

This episode was so good that I started to care about Joel! Really pulled the series back from the brink for me.

Great stuff. Loved it…

…but…

…this further underlines the point that deviating from the X’s and O’s of the game is when the show’s been at its strongest. That has me a little cynical about whether the show can give us sustained greatness on an ongoing basis. Don’t get me wrong; the first two episodes were very good, but I want more than just very good.

On the Nature of Daylight bumps any rating up a full letter grade without exception.

tragabigzanda wrote:Excellent episode tonight. Big emotional swing that completely diverged from the game and it paid off so well. And hey look at Ron Swanson, a real actor it turns out

Brilliant casting choice. The depiction of adults finding themselves in the midst of all of this and ultimately deciding 'love is enough' was unexpected and beautiful.

Yeah, there’d be no point in doing season 2, in my mind, if that event doesn’t happen.

You can enjoy it both ways. It's pretty similar to GoT in that way.
