Do you think we will ever get a No Code/Yield deluxe set?

I feel like it's whatever they did years ago.tragabigzanda wrote:It’s literally just the footage from SVT upscaled. Nothing to get excited about.
Also do we know this Yield thing with Jeff and stone is new, or is it possibly an older thing they did?
I want to believe they're not going to waste our time, but...

For the record, THIS would be an amazing thing to give Fan Club members exclusive access to.
Also, I'm going to leave these predictions here.
Feb 10 Newsletter ... SVT remastered on BluRay? Red/White colored vinyl Yield?

Yield is a vibe to me. The entire listen is very pleasant and warm, but there are only three 5-star songs for me (DTE, Faithful, and Wishlist).

Yeah, I was thinking yesterday at how it's probably slid down my rankings a bit. I even changed my ranking in this poll from 5 stars to 4 to honor that feeling.VinylGuy wrote:Yield is wonderful but these days it might fifth for me

It's their most complete album, for me. Has edged ahead of Vs in recent years in my rankings.

Yield is definitely more than the sum of its parts. As somebody mentioned above, it's a vibe all its own.

Re: Yield: Official Album Thread
I caught a tiny bit of that Jeff and Stone track by track commentary today. Hopefully someone shares it because I'd love to hear the whole thing.
It was interesting to hear them talk about "Push Me, Pull Me". Jeff had a full demo worked up that sounded like an upbeat Police song, and at first Eddie had a cool vocal melody over the verses that Jeff got excited about. Then everyone else got involved and "turned it into an art project" and Jeff was kind of bummed. He even walked out of the sessions over it. He says he grew to like it, though.

I caught a bit of the Stone/Jeff commentary on Yield today. Need to listen to the whole thing now. Pretty funny, though they seem a bit foggy about details from 25 years ago.
But, their commentary on 'No Way' was pretty comical - Jeff is basically afraid of playing it live because of the difficult bass timing in the song.

Isn’t that the second time Jeff walked out of a session over one of his songs? What a little b*tch.

When it comes to Jeff, he's either going to be walking out of a session, or just not be invited to one in the first place.
