Will finish this today. The first hour was interesting, although I do hope the second hour takes it up a notch. It was a bit docile.

Star Trek Into Darkness

Always liked this better than most other people, as one of the top top movies of 2013. Let’s see how it holds up. First viewing in a few years, and probably third overall.

Haha, will finish later today. Star Trek Into Darkness first.

Godfather II. The structure and flow between the two storylines didn’t always feel very smooth to me, granted I did stop at the first intermission a few days ago, but I felt it more in the first two hours. Everything else was pretty much great.

It's a great movie but I agree. Rewatching the whole saga a couple months ago I finally decided that I prefer the first one

I can see that. This is only my second viewing, and that was 20 years ago.

I could use more of the Vito background story, but not sure about a completely separate movie. II is of course long enough as is.

The De Niro scenes in G2 are the best. Maybe in the whole trilogy.
