Tidal waves dont beg forgiveness, crash then on their way
father he enjoyed collisions, others walked away
a snowflake falls in may.

Is way better than any line in FD>

Everything about Man Of The Hour is about 100 times better than anything in Future Days.

It's the only PJ song that makes me weepy.

The best thing about this song is the violin. We should've just had the violinist play something for two or three minutes to end the album.

that's one of my favorite sets of opening lyrics.

Man of the Hour is a fine song.

A snowflake falls in May? Is that really a good line?

i think people should start splicing that tinkly piano bit to the start of other songs to see how it works.

In context, yes it's a good line. There's a surprising interaction between the disparate images.

The snowflake falling, after the father's collisions, makes me think of an ironically pretty metaphor for violence and falling down. I imagine in the movie someone getting hit, then seeing snowflakes in the window.

Man of the Hour is a good tune and all, but the true chorus (Man of the hour, is taking his final bow, as the curtain comes down, I fell this is just goodbye for now) absolutely blows lyrically. All else - good lyrics.
