I don't like The Slip very much, to be perfectly honest. I would have liked it better as an EP. Having said that, I think that "Discipline" is one of TR's very catchiest songs and that "The Four Of Us Are Dying" is one of his best instrumentals.

guys 1,000,000 is a fucking wonderful opener, and sounded awesome live, and the run from that one to Head Down is glorious.

I can agree that the instrumentals are not their best, but still something like The Four Of Us...ranks up there with great work.

Its only 10 songs, its direct, it has mood and also its fucking direct.

Yeah, i love The Slip.

I kinda hated it when the album dropped. It's still the weakest song on there, but I can usually get through it without thoughts of skipping. Some of the guitars are cool.
