Good, but its biggest problem is that Shyamalan directed it, and that comes with a certain expectation around where the story might go (even though it's based on a book). So we can't help but feel a little underwhelmed with what turned out to be a pretty straightforward ending.
I'm wondering why they used the classic Universal logo at the bginning. I thought one of the twists would be the cabin was in some sort of time bubble. Some metaphor associated with the grasshopper jar and explain why the plagues started before they made their decisions each time.
Also wish the production quality of the news broadcasts was better.
And how do you not use the name of the book for the movie?? It's perfect!
