Ok, this is the booklet order. Was this suppose to be the tracklist? It makes way too much sense to just be random? Did they changed the order before it's release. Like they did with Binaural only this time no one knows?
so i've been listening to this album almost exclusively with this re-worked tracklist for the past 6 months or so. i don't think that i'll ever go back.

This has always been the superior track listing.

Alt. tracklist looks good but Brain of J does exactly what's needed to open an album like Yield IMO.

Yeah, he really elevated the band into a unique musical space they just can't access without him (and probably couldn't be repeated now, though I'd welcome them to try).

All the years I've listened to Yield, on so many different music systems and I've never noticed how good those drums sounded until I was listening to the Sirius playback with Stone and Jeff. Strange you noticed it too. Was it a different mix?

no offense to Matt Cameron (who belongs in soundgarden) but Binaural probably would have turned out way cooler / better with Jack on the kit

It’s just that everything gets super compressed for radio, so all the air that’s around Jack’s playing at the beginning of the song was right up in your face
i love when compressed stuff is released right in my face
