Enforcing the existing laws is worthwhile as well because regulations don't mean shit if they are never applied.

There are legalists out there that don't think felonies should permanently remove any of your rights. I don't expect they are a majority of 2A enthusiasts, most of us aren't particularly consistent here.

Progressives seem to at least realize there's a downside to decarceration, but don't have a workable plan to bubble wrap all of society.
