It would be an ok Shania Twain song. As a pearl jam song it's one of the worst.

Shania Twain is a bit further than I would go, but this is the least Pearl Jam sounding song PJ has ever put out. This is more like Painted Shield, which rules.

Future Days, Let the Records Play, Sleeping By Myself, and My Father's Son are eliminated

Other than sleeping by myself, RM probably eliminated the right songs last round. This one is pretty easy. Getaway, Swallowed Whole, and Infallible. Getaway is just kinda there, though the bones of something worthwhile come through in moments. Pearl Jam's weakest opener, though. Swallowed Whole and Infallible are both songs I like that are hampered by Lightning Bolt's flat sound. Those both need to sound more open and expansive than they do
