Lightning Bolt: The Official Album Thread

So what's the general consensus? Are we still creaming over this album? Am I still the only person who thinks it blows?

Other than Getaway, Sirens and Yellow Moon I still think it blows. There's always a chance a few other cuts might grow on me but even allowing for that this will never not be my least favorite album (until "Lightning Bolt 2: Electric Boogaloo in 2019).

The idea of listening to a song 100 times in order to "like" it is probably more silly to me than the thought of a one and done.

That theory works with albums that are multi-layered and seemingly chaotic like "Trout Mask Replica". You have to listen to it a bunch of times before it starts to make sense and anybody who gets that far is fully rewarded.

But not with a fucking Pearl Jam album.
