I really enjoy every release from Isbell, both before and after getting clean, as well as his work with the Truckers but Southeastern is nearly flawless to me.

Southeastern seems to be a big favorite for a lot of fans. It's really solid but I still prefer several other records to that one.

Something More Than Free, for example, really clicks with me on a profound level.

But I just don't think there's a wrong answer here. All his stuff is great.

If you haven't listened to Jason Isbell before, you need to make it a priority. Dude is legit. One of my favorite artist out there.
