Empire Of Light

It’s a very well done movie with some huge problems with its storytelling. Very mixed results but the photography and score are out of this world. I would have seen an hour of that theatre alone.

Annie (2014)

Not sure I understand why the ratings for this are awful, even if it is basically a movie for kids. It’s sweet and charming, and has some nice tunes. The lead actress did a good job.

It was okay. Some sweet moments. Burr is a better actor than you'd expect from a career stand-up comedian. Are there any better actors that made this switch later in their lives?

I wonder if Buschemi did this one pro bono. You just know he was fizzing to play a fireman.

i remember this being merely ok, always super long like in every Apatow flick since Funny People, and yes Burr was good.
