Re: The Running Thread
I’m currently running in Asics that for some reason channel water from the street directly into the upper of the shoe. Even when it’s not currently raining, just wet on the ground. Fuck these shoes. They are great when it’s dry out, but RM please help me choose another pair for running in the rain.

Re: The Running Thread
7.45 @ 9:41 in 36 degrees
Not too bad considering the first 4 miles I was running at a 10:15 pace. Mile 4 was a 10:38 mile. Yeesh.
But mile 5 was 8:45. So that balanced out.

Baller mile 5. Sounds like your last two were in the low 9:00’s maybe? I don’t feel like doing math.epilogue wrote:7.45 @ 9:41 in 36 degrees

Re: The Running Thread
(4*10:15) + (8:45) + 2.45x = (7.45 * 9:41)
41 + 8:45 + 2.45x = ~72:08
49:45 + 2.45x = 72:08
2.45x = 72:08 - 49:45
2.45x = 22:23
x = 22:23/2.45
x = ~9:08
where x equals the pace over the final 2.45 miles of Joe's run, so 9:08 per mile
41 + 8:45 + 2.45x = ~72:08
49:45 + 2.45x = 72:08
2.45x = 72:08 - 49:45
2.45x = 22:23
x = 22:23/2.45
x = ~9:08
where x equals the pace over the final 2.45 miles of Joe's run, so 9:08 per mile

3.5…Wasn’t going that fast and the first two miles felt good, but hit a breathing wall around 2.5.

Re: The Running Thread
Look like I'm ending February with 60.5 miles logged so far this year. Way off the pace for 500 miles over the whole year. Having that as the goal has been encouraging to go out more often than I probably would otherwise, though. So I won't quit on it yet
