Also, new Rasmussen polling question asking "Is it okay to be white?" had a combination of "no" and "not sure" greater than 50 percent from black respondents. Seems totally reasonable to change your entire lifestyle based on Rasmussen polling, right?tragabigzanda wrote:he basically said that because Don Lemon told him there are high correlations between Black neighborhoods and crime rates, White people wouldn't be racist for residential segregation en masseBi_3 wrote:B wrote:

Ah, so he's down the "the US is the new South Africa" racist rabbit hole. That is 100% something that reactionary folks unwilling to see the larger picture would believe, but I assume something that is growing more common as we focus on individual identity and shame national identity. Chalk up another triumph for critical theory.

It is an unfortunate poll result. I don't know what you do with that information other than maybe plead with the media to stop working so hard to mainstream what used to be a fringe Nation of Islam belief.Bi_3 wrote:simple schoolboy wrote:Also, new Rasmussen polling question asking "Is it okay to be white?" had a combination of "no" and "not sure" greater than 50 percent from black respondents. Maybe whitey can start getting "descendant of Yakub's creation" t-shirts to get in on the joke.

What is the number of jobs you have to lose due to racism before you say, "hmmm ... could I be racist?"
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

A charitable reading could interpret this as being passed over for promotion and switching careers due to a lack of growth opportunities. His fixation on being a victim here makes him an unreliable narrator, so it probably doesn't really matter what he's referring to.B wrote:What is the number of jobs you have to lose due to racism before you say, "hmmm ... could I be racist?"

She’s been there for like 2’ish years now. I dunno exactly how long. But as of about a month ago she’s all in on making sure to reference her home as being in “North Idaho” and not just in Idaho.tragabigzanda wrote:Hahaha holy shit. Anyone following the Ricky Vaughn case? Making memes about texting in your vote is allegedly conspiracy to violate voting rights. They've got him on conspiracy to make memes, for sure. I don't understand why this is actionable while Black Panthers wandering around polling stations with clubs being generally menacing is not.
They'll probably succeed with a DC Jury and cooperating witnesses. Seem to be trying to make a "this speech is actually conduct" distinction. Hope this doesn't stand on appeal.
Makes sense why the Trump meme factory fell flat in 2020, the FBI was already leaning on them.

This is a thread for discussing white supremacists, not for recruiting them.

Recruiting? The feds are prosecuting a dude for making spicy memes. Seems a rather novel prosecution is alls I'm saying.
Feds can and do prosecute people for all kinds of stuff, I'd rather they stick to actual crimes rather than squinting at the criminal code and deciding this is close enough.
