It was OK. I just feel like it could be better. It's good enough.

Re: HBO: The Last of Us
i liked it enough, i thought it was the best of the bunch so far. Mainly because i really cared about the relationship between the two, and even if i did know what was going to happen, i was on the edge of the seat expecting them to have an impossible happy ending.
Kudos to both Ramsey and the fucking great Storm Reid, she is an awesome performer.

Yeah she was really good. Not sure I've seen her before. And what a cool name.

Down with 80s/90s nostalgia. Let's do more early to mid-00s stuff like the excellent mall set.

On The Watch podcast, they've done some bits about what the world would be like if culture (music, movies, TV) just stopped in 2003, and while discussing a previous episode, one of them did say, "I always wanted to spend more time with Riot Act..." so I lol'd when All or None started playing.

That's pretty good because Andy notoriously hates grunge. He may be the only person above the age of 40 who loves the My Chemical Romance era of music.Simple Torture wrote:On The Watch podcast, they've done some bits about what the world would be like if culture (music, movies, TV) just stopped in 2003, and while discussing a previous episode, one of them did say, "I always wanted to spend more time with Riot Act..." so I lol'd when All or None started playing.

Not really sure what Veggie and Tree are seeing in Storm Reid's performance. Seemed very average next to Ramsey.

I think I distanced myself from her character because she’s obviously not around anymore; just served a purposeEllo Sailor wrote:Not really sure what Veggie and Tree are seeing in Storm Reid's performance. Seemed very average next to Ramsey.

Whoever jogs to All or None is already dead inside

Re: HBO: The Last of Us
Yeah that was tedious and cringey. If I'm honest, I'm really ready for this to be over. There's a ton of promise but it just keeps missing the mark. If not for the consistently great performances all around I would have bailed.Coach wrote:Ugh, this was my least fav episode, but I will still hang in there.
