from what i recall, neophyte was at least dark and that was the primary appeal for me compared to the other synth tracks. it reminded me of whichever the slower song is of the two beginning is the end batman songs.
ah, copperplate, a font for the truly modern man.

"The Beginning..." is the slow one, used in the Watchmen trailer.

Anyway, I'm not really hearing it. I wish I did!

After trawling through some of the tracks off The Airplane Flies High set - I find myself listening to Atum Act II, and I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised. Did not see myself digging this as much as I am

listened to act II today, and yes its very good.

Also listened to the new ep of the podcast...the first song in act 3 is a piano driven one, not sure what to say yet. Need more time with it. I kinda loved the talked about the social media and online forums they had, and specially Billy's rant about it. They played a Cotillions song and made me wonder if i need to listen to that one again.

Listening to James´s first solo album.

SP would benefit a lot from songs like these.

Let it Come Down? It's a little late for that! How about his 2012 record Look to the Sky?

Even some good ol' acoustic would be welcome. This sounds great IMO:

A slightly remixed version of Zeitgeist popped up on my YouTube playlist, and fuck - if this album had been mixed slightly differently it would have been an absolute monster!

Zeitgeist is a great album. And there are songs from that era that are just plain awesome, like Super Christ or Gossamer.

Haven't listened to it in years, and remembered liking some of it, but not this much

Guys, 'Hooligan' rules. The lyrics may be goofy, but that chorus is absolutely massive.

May 5th, apparently. I've been waiting to hear the third act in full after being sorta underwhelmed by the first few tracks I heard via the podcast.

Also, "Spellbinding" is super average. Terrible choice for a single. The chorus is straight pop-punk and feels like a real "how do you do, fellow kids?" moment for Billy.
