I'm always amazed at people willing to take front-line employees to task for corporate policies. I'm sure they're just fed up with the bullshit, but why take down some poor kid over it? I promise you that cashiers are getting fucked by store policies at LEAST as much as customers.

She wasn’t “hassling” the checker. She was mostly thinking out loud in the form of a non-Karen-esque dialog with the checker for however long it took her credit card to process. It was a friendly enough interaction.
