What movies are you watching?

Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

No Time to Die. I can't remember what I've seen of the previous several Bond movies, aside from Casino Royale which I remember pretty clearly, so I'm not sure who this lady Bond is with in the beginning but I vaguely remember her from previous movies, and I know who Vesper was. This seems well made. I hope it doesn't let me down.

this feels like it was written by too many different voices.. i can't vibe with a tone cause it's all over the place.. is this supposed to be a marvel movie with all these little humourous moments amidst very dire situations?

god the attempts at humour in this are nearly unbearable... yet i'll press on... remember in Casino Royale when the stakes actually felt real? I just don't understand this trend of levity in big budget movies.. just let the tense moments be tense FFS

I loved it. It was one of my favorite movies of the year. The action scenes were tremendous, the Ana de Armas episode was a ton of fun, Lashana Lynch is a star, the ending made me cry my little eyes out. What's not to like?

It's just surface-level bullshit. I didn't care about any of the characters or what happened to them. All of the action scenes bored me to death. None of it meant anything to me.

I liked it too, but this was ~18 years ago. It's a one-and-done for sure.
