All the chatter says tomorrows episode is truly something great.

Honestly, it better be. This season has been boring as hell. A childrens cartoon is not going to have the depth of character to be entertaining to me on its own without the benefit of tying into the larger narrative of the story. Rebels, the Clone Wars, etc were at their best when it provided background or expanded upon the established narrative of the existing story- not droids on weird side missions. This season of Bad Batch has kinda felt like Resistance to me, where it isn't adding anything.

We get it, Hunter wants to be Omega's dad, Tech is her Uncle that's coming around, and Ricker is her jock older brother. She's proving herself to them. That's been the entire arc of the season like 8 different times.

I agree with this. Its been a series of one step forward two steps back in regard to character development and storyline IMHO.

They set up a great story at the end of season 1 and are only kind of following up on it now 11 episodes in.

Whatever else, and I know I’m repeating itself, but this series is visually stunning to look at.
The backgrounds no matter what they are cinema quality. The lighting. All of it.

You could replace the clones with live actors in front of a ship or bunch of mountains from it or coruscant etc and you wouldn’t know the difference.

All caught up. This season is easily better than season one.
Seems to me they’re planning many more. Like clone wars and rebels there’s stuff that seems nonsensical and even entire episodes that feel like filler. But if I was to bet I’d say they’ll be important later. Laying down tracks.

It was an Ok episode. Nice to see advance the stroy and the bb look to leave Cid and get away.

I thought a zilo beast or something caused the waves to rise initially.

I had a big lump in the throat after Tech died and Wrecker got emotional.

The second half of Season 2 was very impressive.
