Re: What movies are you watching?
I put Fellowship on the other night when I saw it on Netflix, just intending to watch a little and skip around.
I watched every second of the trilogy over the course of the next 48 hours. It was basically all I did for two days. They're so good, so much fun. I, too, sometimes seem to forget that

gonna have to check out the rings of power when i'm done with this trilogy
it's fun to imagine this really happened, or something like it, and elves and dwarves and wizards and hobbits and shit were real a long long time ago somewhere

No.
Almost through TFOTR (EE). I find that some of the effects don't hold up very well, but most of them do, and quite well. The tone is a little corny sometimes, but from the right perspective it works. Very impressive movie overall. Way better than Star Wars. There should be a TLOTR forum instead of a SW one.

Re: What movies are you watching?
Just got back from seeing Scream 6. It is the most brutal film of the franchise by far. Ghostface isn't playing around in this one.
Overall, I really enjoyed it and the new group felt much more comfortable in their roles this time.
I have some small issues but this one could be the best one since Scream 2 for me.

I thought he was one of the most cancelled actors of all time. Bill Cosby-territory.

Pretty crazy how Pitt essentially plays himself in the scene where he flips out on his second (or was it third?) wife in Babylon.
