King of the Hill
The Simpsons (granted it’s been 20 years since I’ve seen a new episode)
South Park (granted it’s been 20 years since I’ve seen a new episode)
Let me tell you, Homer Simpson is cock of nothing!

The classic era of The Simpsons is far and away the best of these. The problem is that classic era is only about 8, maybe 9 seasons long, and the show has gone on for 20+ seasons more than that. I rank it at the top for the sheer quality of those classic seasons, which are among the best scripted comedy ever written. I really wish the show would just end already though.

I'll rank South Park next. I have my issues with the show, and Matt and Trey's aggressive center-right edgelord shit can get tiresome, but they are also often brilliant satirists, and have made me laugh many times. The classic era is of course wonderful, but even recent gags like 'Memberberries and PC Principal are hilarious. Haven't kept up with the show in a spell though.

Futurama is my next pick. A lot of really funny gags and endearing characters, but I've never watched it with any regularity.

King of the Hill, which I've only seen a few scattered episodes of. Seems to me like I would really love it if I dug deeper into it, 'cause the stuff I've watched is really funny.

Family Guy. Trash

Interesting that you have Futurama so low. The first run of Futurama is up there with the first 8 seasons of the Simpsons in my opinion.

I haven't watch The Simpsons or South Park since college. I used to watch Simpsons every day. Never saw the others.

My ranking is purely about the enjoyment i've gotten from what i remember seeing of the shows.. i haven't seen enough of them to give a fair objective ranking.. KOTH is the only one I've recently watched and I watched the whole thing within a couple years ago and enjoyed it quite a bit. Family Guy is just plain bad, IMO.

More people should dig up Venture Bros. I hated it at first, but now think it's a hidden masterpiece.

This ranking feels about right, but I would flip King of the Hill and Futurama.

I’ve been making my way thru King of the Hill over the past few months and those of you that haven’t watched it or have only seen a few episodes of it should give it a try. It’s really good and stays pretty much consistent throughout. Im excited for the revival but sad that Luanne and Lucky won’t be in it.

Agree with the point that the first 8-9 seasons of The Simpsons is the best of the bunch.

ok i'll give it a try

1. Seinfeld
2. The Wonder Years
3. Growing Pains
4. Family Matters
5. Fresh Prince of Bel-Air
6. Full House
7. Friends

I don't know if I remember anything about 3-5, so I'm kinda just winging it by my gut hunches. Nothing, not even Full House, is as bad as Friends.
