Pretty good. I still have issues with the writing but the directing and effects have been solid.

It was smart to outfit Mando with that sword. It's basically a lightsaber.

Coach, do some reading on the dark saber. It might help with this season a little more. Specifically look up Rebels episodes that deal with it. It was a light saber created by a Mandolorian Jedi a thousand years ago.

Got it. Will do. Now I remember the part about the Jedi Mandolorian.

What I mean is that they have found success in the past w/ light saber wielding characters so they've done it again. I like it. I feel like it's still creative, yet familiar.

Some of the shots in this episode. Amazing. The lighting. The Camera position. The framing.
Thinking specifically when he’s outside the cave. It looks absolutely beautiful. And the long shot down the hull of the N1 as it’s going through weather. It was fuckin real!! They nailed that.

Totally. I think this is far and away the best this show has ever looked. I really dig this director, too.

The only scenes this episode where it seemed green-screeny (technical term) was when they were walking through the civic center before going into the mines. Everything else looked great.

What do we think the last event at the Mandalorian Civic Center was? Monster Jam or Ozzfest?

I guess it could be anything considering this:

Trivia (18) Had to add the "T" as a middle initial to avoid confusion with actor, Craig Richard Nelson, who had registered his name first with the Screen Actors Guild. Former radio performer and stand-up comic

Scrimshaw diving into the meta themes of this latest episode of Mando is the fucking content I'm here for! :heartbeat:

He talks about the parallel between Bo-Katan saying these are "just children's stories" in the show and the larger IRL Star Wars discourse. And for my money he's absolutely right. The stories are not empty, they have great depths occupied by Mythosaurs.

Imagine if they find a Mythosaurs skeleton on Earth?
